[WATCH] Super 8 Review; Super 8 Rotten Tomatoes

The story of a group of middle-school kids making a film during their summer vacation is the kind of adolescent innocence we can all relate to and it's featured extraordinarily well in this film. These young actors are just a joy to watch on screen. Initial response recorded by review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes is acclaimed, with an approval score of 83% based of 46 critics, with a rating average of 8/10.

They each possess acting abilities far greater than their young ages suggest. Set in 1979, "Super 8" tells the story of a group of young movie makers who witness a massive train crash, which in turn releases an unknown force onto their small Ohio town.

When the locals start to disappear and even the inquisitive deputy can't come up with answers, suspicions emerge that the incident was anything but an accident.
